Alikes



This area is named after the salt factory that has been operating there for many years.It is one of the most popular holiday centres on the island.


Alikes offers a good variety of watersports, jet skiing, paragliding and water skiing.

Alikes has some of the best beaches north of Zakynthos Town and is a busy access route to the north of the island.

The long beach at Alikes is divided by a long jetty which is the starting point for the local fishermen.

From the cypress-lined foothills, the salt-pans and the narrow sandy beach, this is an excellent starting point for mountain biking and hiking. The stone bridge was built by the British during their occupation.
