Argasi

Argasi is the oldest established resort on the island. In fact, this was historically just a suburb of Zante Town.

Argasi is one of the most popular tourist areas on the island. With Mount Skopos as a backdrop, the narrow beach is within ten minutes drive from Zakynthos Town.

Argasi

Argasi has a fine sand and shingle beach with many coves. The beach is narrow and over one kilometer long.

This resort has grown substantially over the last five years due to its proximity to the capital.

There are a wide variety of watersports and plenty of evening entertainment including bars, tavernas and nightclubs.

Argasi

Argasi caters for commercial tourism with a mixture of bars, clubs and tavernas.

This a resort for a lively holiday and is home to the curious 'Denis's Asda Price' - a emporium of cigarettes, booze and UK supermarket own-brand products!

Argasi

This is a rapidly expanding area of the island and is subject to considerable development. Hotel complexes are creeping up the foothills of Mount Skopos so it is not the place for a secluded holiday.

Argasi is the home of the original Zante cyber cafe, the Mouse House (tel 49510)!
